I spent another spring and summer in Sweden, this time working at AniCura Kalmar.
Here are some common and rare names the owners give their animals:
Mumrik, Grållan, Ebba, Brasse, Sixten, Blixten, Bosse, Findus, Sven, Pussel, Skrållan…
I am trying to learn Swedish, I can almost feel the magic of this difficult language!
The funniest name was POTATIS, which means potato in Swedish! Potatis had to be operated on, so my clinical notes from the operation sounded quite funny – not everyone can operate on a potato!
I present the photos of some of my beautiful patients and places I visited.
