Sometimes a dog can eat a horse

An exploratory laparotomy is a type of abdominal surgery that vets very often perform out of hours, when every minute counts, or when it is unlikely that something the animal has ingested will be digestible 🙂
In my photos a short story about a small dog that was able to eat a horse! Luckily, the purple unicorn was small and still in the stomach, so it was easy to remove. I had the pleasure of working with a friendly team at a small referral hospital in Godstone at the time.
